With a strong commercial background, Alex has extensive experience in infrastructure finance, public sector engagement with commercial investors and transaction support across the electric vehicle, energy and automotive sectors. Prior to joining Steer, Alex served as Senior Vice President of Avis Budget Group, where he led multi-billion-dollar transactions and turned around the 70,000 vehicle strong Ryder/Budget Truck Rental operation.
Holding both an MBA and an MSc, Alex now advises on the emerging EV charging sector, fleet electrification, infrastructure finance, alternative models of fleet access, and the evolving retail automotive market, particularly with regard to EV uptake. Based in London, he collaborates with Steer's Infrastructure Advisory and New Mobility teams, focusing on creating investable electric vehicle charging infrastructure serving scalable and predictable cash flows across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
