Dylan is a Principal Consultant based in our London office. He has a background in transport economics and specialises in economic appraisal, modelling, evaluation and business cases. Dylan has a detailed knowledge of the latest application of transport modelling and appraisal methodologies, including those outlined in the UK DfT’s transport appraisal guidance, the Passenger Demand Forecasting Handbook, and HMT’s Green and Magenta Books. Prior to joining Steer in March 2023, Dylan spent five and a half years at the UK DfT in various economist roles, including developing the Economic Case and demand modelling approach for East West Rail.
Dylan works in Steer’s Movement, Place & Projects practice and primarily applies his expertise to delivering business case, scheme design/assessment, and evaluation projects for public sector clients. Dylan is an experienced project manager and has worked collaboratively across the business, incorporating several different transport modes and domains, including rail, buses, active travel and new mobility.
